Discover Flatiron Walking Tour
Soak up some sun and feast on a rich repast of NYC history during a
90-minute walking tour highlighting the Flatiron District's structural
icons. Guides for the expedition—one of whom is a historian and urban
archivist—relate the stories of the area and its landmarks, including
the New York Life Building, the MetLife clock tower, the New York State
Supreme Court appellate courthouse and, of course, the Flatiron
Building. The tour takes place every Sunday; attendees meet at the
southwest corner of Madison Square Park, Broadway and East 23rd Street,
at 11am. If you can't make it, print out a self-guided tour brochure and stop by at your leisure.
